Not sure I understand the difference between a LH surge and just plain positive. This test is neg I believe but is this rather dark for 10dpo. Someone educate me? I'm trying to use it as a preg indicator while I'm out of hpts.

yeah def negative. Lines need to be the same colour or the test line darker for it to be positive x

looks like a light bfp to me, but I suggest taking another test in the AM a few days from now
