11 days late, 25DPO, Loads of Symptoms...But BFNS!!

Hi Ladies,
I thought I would seek advice, as you can see from the title, I am 23DPO, 11 days late for AF, I have more odd symptoms than you can shake a stick at, but BFNs! Every morning I take a test, I have used the internet cheapies plus superdrug brand & clear blue. I have been to the doctors twice & tested Neg, I don't know what is going on! I have a blood test Wednesday. I am so confused, My BBs are swollen & sore with blue veins, I am bloated, I keep getting cramps & It feels like someone is trying to pull my uterus out! (sorry for tmi) and that is just to name a few of the odd things my body is doing.
I guess I was looking for anyone with advice / similar experience so I can get a better idea of what might be going on.

Blood tests will say for sure, and if you're still getting symptoms then ask for further testing. It could be something else? Goodluck hun. x

Thanks girls, I just wanna know I think the doc thought I was made when I went there 4 days late. I am so bloated & I wouldn't mind that if I knew it was for a reason I will keep you updated, thanks for the replies xx

Hi again ladies, I hope you are all well. I just wanted to updateyou all, I am now 13 days late for AF, having every 'symptom' in the book but still BFNS!! I have had a few test when I have seen something but they weremore like evaps. I have had a blood test but he only done blood count & liver * thyroids as he said he needs to rule out everything else before testing for pregnancy! They cameback all clear today so I will see him monday & ask for a pregnancy test (Blood)
Has ANYONE Been through similar?

Sorry no... but I just wanted to say what a STUPID GP you have ! why not do the pregnancy bloods first to rule that out before the rest, seems like a crazy idea to me to do it the other way around lol anyway, just wanted to say that and to wish you the best of luck xxx

Not sure whether this helps,but did u ovulate. Cos last month i was 23 days late.I just ovulated late.I had every possible symptoms in the book.but Af came. I even had snotlike CM,nausea and veins on my boobs,tender nipples but no BFP. I have never been so late before in my life.So if ur sure u ovulated then it might be something else.If not you just ovulated late or ovulating now.

Just my 2 cents.

I am currently 9-10 days late also...my gut keeps telling me that I am, but like you said all BFN and some with faint line but I am not sure if they are evaps also...and every now and then I think I AF came and got to the BR and alot of white lotion like cm...so confused just want some answers really soon...My OB wont do any blood work until I get a +hcg pee test, I have heard of some cases that some women dont get positives until they are 2+ weeks late

Thanks girls, My GP isn't that good - I got the feeling he thought I was making a deal out of nothing! Thanks for the comments, it's always good to know I can get these things off mychest & get advice too I am pretty sure I ovulated Thursday 6th May.
Sammy - I am exactly the same, loads of white lotion like CM! And these evaps are driving me INSANE!! Lets keep each other updated my love as it may be a comfort I hope both our evaps turn into soon. I really fancy a drink tonight but I dare not!

i was interested by yr thread cause my best mate cant use preg tests they dont show anything up only a blood test works the dr said it can happen in some women its quite rare but it can ive seen her with a 8 week scan in one hand neg preg test in other.

Hey hun you sound like me!..
I last did a test at 16DPO and i am now only 6 days late but scared to do another test as everyone else seems to get at 10DPO etc.....i dont have overly sore boobs which is usually a BIG signs for me.

What i was going to say is a thyroid problem as i got an overactive thyroid after having my first DS and i felt awful and did so many pg tests and missed periods, but if he has already done that test and its been fine then the next is a hormone inbalance.
I cant believe he didnt do bloodwork for pregnancy first, i have read on here people only getting 3 weeks late because they ovulated late, when i got pregnant last time i ovulated the day my AF was due, so if that happened to you then you would be 13DPO so a test wouldnt always showed up pos!

Hope you get your BFP soon or at least AF so you can start again!! gl hun

You may be one of those ladies who doesn't get a positive hpt!!
I will say though i had a 44 day cycle last month and usually they are anything from 24 to 31 days so was quite late!! I was sure I was preggers as had a few symptoms - Sore boobs, LOADS of CM (tmi), headaches, dizzy spells, really bloated (looked about 4 months preggo). Turned out I think I ov'd late and missed it. Hopefully you just Ov'd late and hopefully you were still BDing and caught the wee egg x
I am only 1dpo today i think as had a positive Ov Test on the 3rd but I will be BDing every other day until A/F incase the same happens this month again.
Fingers crossed for you hunny, I would say try and relax but I know how hard that is!! I went away for a couple of days with my hubby and son last month and low and behold A/F turned up as I was relaxed and my wee hol took my mind off ttc x

I have heard of ladies who never get a bfp on hpt and go on to have happy healthy pregnancies ( i done a LOT of googling last cycle!!) x

Is it possible to ask a UK GP for a blood test for pregnancy?.....or would they just say that it you're not pregnant if a urine test is negative?....I've heard of loads of people that don't get pos HPTs but does a doctor recognise that this sometimes happens?...

My GP wasn't that helpfull really last month, I was around 2-3 weeks late when I saw her and she did say some woman don't get positive hpt's but advised me to wait another 2 weeks then she would do blood test.
I think it really depends how late you are and who your GP is, your GP will take into consideration the possibility of late ovulation thats why my GP told me to wait I think x

I do admit when i was TTC last time i spoke to my doctor about me being late and not pregnant, and when they do blood tests, he said he would do a blood test when the next AF doesnt turn up, antenatal care only starts at 8 weeks anyway so even if you found out later that you are pregnant you wouldnt have missed out on care, just start taking prenatal vitamins in the meantime just incase....

Here in the US I know we do things really differently but I would go to the hospital and tell them you are having stomach pains and no AF. Surely they will do a sonogram to see whats going on. With a sonogram you can know for sure! Also, are you TTC #1? Have you ever had a BFP on a pregnancy test, cause like the others said it is rare but some people dont show positive on HPT'S. Before I got pregnant, one cycle I was extremely late for my period and had every symptom possible. I convinced myself I was pregnant and when the bloods came back negative I was shocked. Your body might just be playing tricks on you, maybe you didnt Ov this month and so your period hasnt come I hope your periods become regular again soon. Hopefully your doc gives you a blood test just to ease your mind.
