11 days old wanting more

hi my lil boy is 11 days old and currently having 3 oz every 3-4 hrs but he doesnt seem to be setlein n when hes finished his bottle within half n hr he is tryin to eat his hands lol shud i up his bottles to 4oz? it just seems a lot for an 11day old xx

Thats what mine was taking, I asked my HV as was concerned and she said its fine, give her what she wants.
She has only just settled and been on 6oz for the past 2 weeks and she is now 6 weeks old.

My lo is now 23 days old, and about a week ago I started preparing her 5oz feeds, she doesn't always take it but her appetite varies from 2-5oz throughout the day and so I let her take what she wants - she seems happy to push the bottle away when she's done so I don't force her to take more than she needs. She has about 23-25oz per day which seems to fall within the range of averages (according to Aptimil box anyway! lol)

Daisy is 16 days old and takes 2-5oz at each feed, the mw just told me to give her as much as she wants x

Heya hun, at this age its pretty much feed on demand and feed as much as is needed. Your LO is pretty much sleeping and eating right now so if he is needing more there is no harm in giving a little more. If he is taking too much he will let you know by spitting a bit back up. It wont hurt him and unbtill you get used to how much he is needing then it will be fine. You might find that he may act like he wants more but it could just be a gulp or two more that he s wanting. So just go with the flow and enjoy him
