Hi I'm new...

I have 11 pills left and then we will be TTC our first  Going to go and see my Doc next week for advice etc.

I have no idea about cycles etc so need to learn what I can! Have been on the pill for 9 years so have NO idea what my cycles will be like! They used to be really looooong (up to 3 months) but hoping it was because I was young?

We are going to go with the flow for the first few months (well, I say that at the moment but I bet I don't!!) as I realise my cycle may be all over the place....

Its all very exciting!

If you have any advice for a complete beginner then please share!

Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It'll teach you how to figure your cycle out!

Hey, congrats of TCC! i went off the pill in October and AF has never really regulated, i went for a Ultrasound and blood work, and im thinking it may be PCOS, but who knows, you really just have to see how your cycles go, there are lots of things to learn, i just looked up everything on the internet, there are a lot of good websites that will teach you everything you need to know!.
Good luck though! and lots of baby dust:dust:

Congrats on starting to TTC! I just started this past month~ so I guess we're both new to all of this!

I've learned a LOT while charting my BBT (basal body temperature) on fertilityfriend.com. This is only my first month charting, but I really recommend it! It's really helpful to know if/when you ovulate. And just really keeping my eye on my body has me thinking that if I don't get PG this month, I will know for sure when my O-day is coming next month.

Good luck!

I'm with you! I was on the pill for 13 years, and I'm realizing I have NO idea about my body, or my cycles. My CP seems one way one day, and completely different the next! Same with my CM! I have an app on my phone (Andriod...it is called My Days) and it helps me track my ovulation days, right now Im going with a "normal" cycle, and it will adjust for me as I input data. Here's to both (all!) of us figuring out ourselves!
