11 weeks teething???????

could Alex be teething this early? he's normally a really content baby but the past week he's been really unsettled, at first we thought he was hungrier and the hv recommended putting him on hungry baby milk, but that didn't make any difference - in fact he got worse. so we've put him back on normal milk but he's still really fractious all the time. he does have red hot cheeks and is constantly dribbling and chewing on his fist, i just thought it was too early to be teething?

It can be teething BUT you may not have teeth until 6-8 months. We had the same and this is what we were told by the doctor. The teeth are positions under the gums but it could go on for a few months before they'll actually show.

He could be teething hun, Dylan got his 1st tooth when he was 3.5 months old so he probably started teething round about 11-12 weeks old.xx

hey hunnie x Amelia is the same and HV said she IS def teething - try Ashton and Parsons powders - they are wonderful! You literally just open the packet and put half the dose onto their tongues to disolve - i think it must taste nice as Amelia seems to like it! Also, they are herbal rather then medicated, so that is good. They have calmed amelia down many times and allowed her to settle enough to drop of to sleep within mins!!!
