Okay, ladies. I've been dying to get this ultrasound so I could ask you guys!! I have been looking through these threads in the last few weeks and you guys are sooo good!! I'm amazed! I feel like it's pretty obvious, but just tell me...is there anyone who thinks it's possible that this is anything but a boy??

Thanks in advance!!!:hugs:

Even just by the first photo, that is a BOY :blue: :flower:

It is a clear boy shot to me. That's what my son looked like at 17 weeks. And it was confirmed right after that in 4D. So, yeah, there was no mistaking it. I don't see how it could be anything else. I am surprised at how clear it is so early. But that's great!

Thanks so much for your responses ladies. I'm so excited! I was hoping you would confirm what the u/s tech said. Not because I was really hoping for a boy over girl...I would have been thrilled either way. But I was just hoping to KNOW (not with certainty, but you know!). It's so fun to be able to say "he" or "she" rather than "it"!!!

Firstly, congrats! :happydance:

This is the most obvious 12week nub I've ever seen. I am very jealous, I wish mine was this obvious haha. I have done extensive research in to girl/boy nubs (have been slightly obsessed with deciphering my own) and even on occasion when a girl nub is slightly angled it has never been that angled, not to mention the very boyish shape! :blue:

Aww...thanks Indi!!! It makes me so happy to hear that! I was pretty confident, but then a girl on my Facebook group commented how they all look about the same at this age, etc., etc., and it got me doubting. But your comment made me feel more assured. Also I feel like there's a reason the ultrasound tech volunteered her guess...I didn't ask her about gender. She asked me if I wanted to know. :D

How far along are you? Hopefully you get your for sure answer very soon! Glad I was able to benefit from your extensive research! Love your profile pic btw..so cute! :D

That's ok hun, I love taking a guess..it's always a bit of fun! Until it comes to guessing your own and then you just drive yourself crazy with doubt haha. At my 12 week scan I asked them to take a guess but they said it was too early, so the fact your tech was offering information is definitely a good sign! Massively jealous!

I'm 17w2d! I was suppose to find out the gender 2 days ago but the umbilical cord was in the way, just my luck!! So I'm practicing my patience skills (or lack there of) for another 2 weeks when I'm due for my next scan.

When is your anatomy/gender scan? How is your pregnancy going so far, have you had any ms?

Oh boy Oh boy congrats I wish my baby would cooperate like yours I went home with photos of a butt crack and the baby's thighs.

I don't think they all look the same! My boy had a nub exactly like that at 11 + 4, some people said from that photo there was no mistaking it that he was a boy! Are you going to find out later on? :flower:

Oh how frustrating, Indi! These babies are stubborn sometimes. Last appt. my doctor gave me a full 9 minute ultrasound waiting for him to move his hands from in front of his face so she could get a good profile. Nope! Didn't happen! My pregnancy's been pretty smooth so far. I miraculously escaped without morning sickness. Tiny bit of nausea here and there when my HCG peaked around 10 weeks, but other than that I've been so lucky! I have had to deal with some bleeding from a small SCH, so that has been nerve wracking. But it seems to have cleared up. The doc at this u/s couldn't find it! I had to go to a different center for my NT/anatomy scans, so the anatomy scan isn't until 20 weeks, but I have another u/s at 15 weeks with my regular OB, so I'm hoping she can confirm gender then. I'm so sorry you're having to be so patient...that really stinks when you want to know so bad! And you're so far along!! Have you had a good pregnancy? Hope what they say about the magical 2nd trimester with all the glowing and energy is true!

Jaedyn, how frustrating! Well, I think you have a good story to tell your baby when it gets older!

That's great to hear ClairAye! Yes, will absolutely be finding out for sure ASAP!!! I don't have the patience of some of you guys who stay team yellow. While I love the idea of that moment of finding out at birth, I love knowing the whole time better!

Thanks Nicky and Livia!! :D

Oooh yes, any kind of bleeding during pregnancy can certainly be nerve racking...glad that's cleared up for you! I envy that you have escaped without ms, well done to your hormones for behaving!! My hormones on the other hand have been seriously misbehaving! I'm naturally high in estrogen anyway, so pregnancy for me is a guarantee that I have to make best friends with the toilet bowl. I'm just glad this is my first baby so I don't have to deal with children while I'm so sick!

I do think there is some truth to the 2nd trimester stories! Maybe just not for me haha but on the upside my skin is glowing and I am enjoying my luscious locks...so an improvement in that department! Energy, bladder and ms haven't improved though but everyone is different & I have a good feeling you may just reap some of those 2nd tri benefits!

Even though I have been sick, I still classify it as a good pregnancy as the baby is going great and underneath the sickness I am pretty damn happy! How many weeks are you now? Keep us posted if you get your gender confirmed at 15 weeks! xo

Aww...sorry you've been so sick, Indi! FX that clears up soon...I'd hate for you to go through the whole pregnancy like that! Yeah, I have noticed my fingernails being super strong! And yes, since the baby's healthy, it's def a good pregnancy! Hugs!

Thanks Luchi! It seems to be unanimous! :D
