IMO 2nd tri starts after the end of the 12th week... but there are so many different ways of calculating the start/end of a trimester based on LMP, date of conception, gestation, etc... there's no sure shot way.

But I'd like to think that by week 12, you're in the clear of those first tri worries (chances of miscarriage drop significantly), so that's kind of a right of passage into second tri!

I moved over to 2nd tri once I reached 13 weeks (yesterday)...but I say anywhere between 12-14 weeks...go for it! Everyone calculates it differently...I don't think there's any definate answer. I moved over b/c I found that I related to the topics more over in 2nd tri. See you over there, and congrats
