Hello ladies out there...
I'd love to share my story of hope... Before I came to be the happy and contented person I am today, I had my set of struggles and hurt too... I was married at the age of 30 and waited 14 long years before I finally got pregnant. What I went through was unbelievably crushing. Along those years of waiting, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer...early stage... Who would have thought I could be a mother of twins??? The hurt and pain paid off well...
For you women out there... I am sharing you my story to give you hope and encouragement. Don't let your disappointments keep you from trying to be mother you dream to be.

I am looking forward to hear your stories... I'd be glad to help:hugs:

thats such a heartwarming story!! im sorry for all you have been through beautiful twins nows though how amazing for you! . I am experiencing secondary infertility, no ryhme or reason for it. we are both clear of any issues. apart from i havr had endo lasered away twice. i went for an ultrasound yesterday and the sonogrpaher said that all looks really well and healthy and as i am at day 21 today she said my endometrial lining was really thick 11mm exactly as it should be. she did say that i have definately ovulated as she can see the fluid left in my pelvic area too. however she said that my left ovary isint clearly visible as it is sitting behind my womb, she didnt seem to concerened, especially as she said that is the one iovulated from.... im still ocnfused though xxxx

Um, emma is this for real, or is this some type of advertisement for that "truth about pregnant" website in your signature?

I'd like to think you are genuine, but I can't stand those websites with their "get pregnant naturally in 8 weeks" or "pregnancy miracle" claims.

There are no miracles, there is only persistence and the marvels of modern medicine!

I think women who are LTTTC have enough to worry about without people trying to sell them lies.

If it was as easy as buying whatever book these websites are flogging, then none of us would be here.

Sorry if I am totally off here - I am quite happy to apologise for the rant and congratulate you instead if I am wrong!

I understand how you feel..maybe you've been through some sort of bad experience with those stuff.... but no... I'm not advertising because I never used any extraordinare method on my part... it just so happened that I was blessed more than enough to have kids after a long wait and at an older age... don't worry about apologizing... I have no right to be offended with all the blessings I have had... I can only wish you nothing but the best...:hugs:

I also have to say.... there are miracles... persistence and modern medicine or the high technology we have can do nothing without God's grace.. it is His permissive will that allows us to have what we have :)

thank you so much...
If your OB doesn't seem concern, then probably you have nothing to worry about. Sometimes the ovaries can't be seen because of the uterus... a transvaginal ultrasound may be better for that matter. Lining of the uterus thicken every cycle. When those thickening fall off- its called our menstruation. It thickens because it prepares itself for the implantation of the baby.. when there's no baby, it falls off... that's the reason why we bleed or menstruate when there is no pregnancy.

I wish you well... don't worry much... at least you have a kid or kids before you experience infertility problems... Don't stress yourself too much, if it will be given to you, it will be given.. :hugs::hugs::hugs:
