I'm 14 weeks and I can feel movement, maybe once to three times a day?

This is my first baby and everyone keeps telling me its to early to start feeling things. I know its the baby. I've had a lot of gas in the past and I know exactly how that feels and this feels nothing like that. Actually it feels like nothing i've ever felt before in my life. The movement is always sudden and goes away quickly. The last one I had yesterday was quite hard, it shocked me. I was like... woooaaah what was that!!? before I suddenly remembered I was pregnant haha.

I know i'm not imagining things. But is this completely unheard of? Is it possible that I'm further along than what they calculated at my dating scan? Because what they said, didn't match up with my dates at all! Would love to have peoples thoughts :)

I can feel flutters here and there. This is my 5th. I didn't feel movement with my first until 16 weeks.

I would say its completely possible I've heard lots of women say they've felt it early. My placenta has been in the front for both my pregnancies so I never felt kicks till 22 weeks with my first, and I'm just starting to feel light flutters now at 17 weeks.

I believe it! I felt movement with my 3rd at 14 weeks - hoping to feel movement soon with this one :)

I don't remember when I felt movement with my first (she's almost 16 now ... that's a long time). But I'm sure it's possible at 14 weeks that you're feeling those flutters. I'm on my 5th and, ironically, it took a lot longer to feel movement this time than my last 3 (I swear, with my 3rd I was feeling it around 12-13 weeks!). I may have to ask the OB about placenta positioning, just out of curiosity.

I think its possible women must renember we all have different body types some will feel sooner with #1 than others.

Im.like that myself its myself, the kicks catch me by myself i make a 'oooo' sound hahs

Sometimes when I'm nice and calm I try to concentrate and am sure I feel something. It's not all the time though, usually from 12pm and later.
I'm not sure how to explain the feeling, maybe it isn't the baby I'm feeling, but it's nice to think it is :)

I definately think you can, with my first I did around 14/15 weeks. Felt like little tiny bubbles but no gas with it if you know what I mean! X

I'm 14+3 and felt something yesterday. The only way to describe it is like a goldfish out of water, flapping about. Only for a second or two though... I've felt gas bubbles before and this definitely felt different!
I think it depends on the woman/physique as to when the feelings start. Not that I'm an expert though as this is my first!

I started feeling small little flutters at 13weeks and like 3-4 days. I know they are baby. I don't feel them everyday, I actually had a few days were I didn't feel anything then last night I felt a big thump, almost felt like baby summersaulted in my tummy. Don't let people tell you its too early or that its gas. We know what we are feeling and we know the difference between gas and something strange. (because it is strange when you feel baby move at first) I never know how to explain the feelings.

So glad I am not the only one. All of my mom friends are convinced it's gas or organs but I am certain I feel flutters. Usually after lunch, but not every day.

I am 14 weeks today.
