.

We put tom in his own room when he was 8 months ish and he sleeps through most nights :)

Seren was sleeping through at about a month old, at about that age I was starting to get her into a bit of a routine with her feeding (every 3hrs). What really helped was not putting her in her crib/basket in the day time, I think it helped build the association between going upstairs to her crib and it being sleep time.

I don't let her nap after 4pm & I cosleep most nights so I lay down with her & give her a bottle in bed.I also put her down for naps in the day on another bed, not mine.

I found getting naps in earlier in the day helped a lot, so I started waking her earlier. Wake at 7, nap at 11am, nap at 2:30/3:00pm & try to keep her awake until 8 or 9pm when she goes down. She is usually so tired by that point that she stays down

Hannah didn't sleep through until she was weaned at 6 months! You can do things like try to associate day time with play, keep LO up as much as possible, keep it bright and at night have everything quiet and dark. But even than there's always chance your LO won't sleep through (our definition of sleep through 8+ hours) until older. You have to remember that at that age 5 hours is considered sleeping through to them

Ah I just noticed how young your baby is.

I wouldn't push a routine that young. They say not to try to enforce a routine until 4 months. Renah is 7 months.

hiya, Patrick slept through the first night he went into his own room at 8weeks old. I dunno if it was a fluke or not. he started off doing 10-6 then slowly we got where we are now at 7-6.....we had a month or so of proper sleeping through.....for a few weeks now hes started to stir during the night for no apparent reason, but this can happen with teething. We do wind down time/bath then massage, bottle and bed...it seems to work. I dont think you ever get 100% into a routine because it seems that once you do something comes and upsets it, illness, jabs, teething, growth spurt etc etc lol x

You just need to go with the flow. Meadow has only just started having consistent feeds and she has only just started sleeping 9pm till 9am. She gradually dropped one night at a time. First was the midnight feed then the 3am feed and then last was the 6am feed.

i wanted to follow a routine but like others say it is really early to start a routine as the baby wont be ready just yet.

annabelle found her own routine at around 8 weeks and that was a bedtime and sleeping through once we had that we then established a different day feeding routine again that she set herself

Elyse just started sleeping through on her own, she takes a bottle and gets rocked and goes straight to sleep most nights around 11:30.. then stays sleeping until at least 7:30 I'd say 80% of the time. I don't have her on any feeding schedule really I fed her on demand and for the past month I guess the "demand" has been at about the same times everyday :)

Violet has been sleeping through (from 9pm-5am) for a couple of weeks now.

What we found was that she'd want more during the day so she could drop the 2am bottle. She done it on her own though, we didn't actively enforce any kind of routine.

Liss slept through since she was abut 12-15 weeks can't quite remember, but we did it by giving her an extra OZ before bed She gave up the 10 pm bottle just prior to that and would wake at 5am so upped the 7pm bottle and she goes till around 7am. We do Bath bottle, relax bed. She does 11-11.5 hours :)

Hey hun, with Ridley i give him a larger bottle than the normal day bottle and leave two ounces use johnsons bedtime bath and bathe him, then i will feed his last 2oz in our bedroom with with lights dim and curtains closed.

He now sleeps on average from 9-7am then back to bed after feed sometimes until 10 if we're lucky ;)
