I started an IVF cycle but that was cancelled for medical reasons (not enough follicles). Triggered on 31/3 (expected ovulation on 2/4). We tried naturally in that time. First day of LMP was 21/3.
HCG on 17/4 was 259. HCG on 22/4 was 2390. Nurse said it's a great level for a five week pregnancy, but if we are calculating by estimated conception date then I'm only 2 - 3 weeks pregnant, so isn't the HCG a bit high and suggestive of perhaps a chemical pregnancy or a molar pregnancy (or, worse, an ectopic)? For context, I've had constant period type pains for a week last week, which now only come and go. I have no nausea or breast tenderness, as I did with the last pregnancy. Nurses won’t scan early like they did with my last pregnancy, despite my anxiety (see below for why I have anxiety).
For further background about why I’m nervous: I've suffered one blighted ovum in 2023 and one 8 week miscarriage in June last year. The pregnancy last year (due to chromosomal abmormality) was accompanied by nausea and breast tenderness, as well as bad period type pain that was there all day, every day. Nurses did not listen to me when I said it didn't feel right - that something was up.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
