16 months old behavior at bed time...

Recently my 16 month old LG has been getting very hyper after being put to bed. She can be shattered but will roll and flail about. Do head stands sticking her bum in the air, hit her head off the headboard, throw her dummy, kick her legs about, make loads of noise and just keep herself from sleeping basically.

Is this normal behaviour for her age?

Sounds like a developmental leap - brain just not switching off! My LO was similar at about 14months I think.

Mine was the same. She used to make weird noises too and did some strange yoga moves!
