16 weeks and strange sharp pulling pains

I'm currently 16 weeks and recently have been getting sharp pulling pains in my upper abdomen. They take the breathe out of me when it happens mostly just from it scaring me. Has anyone else experienced this? I have an appointment tomorrow and I think I'll mention it to the doctor.

Yes, it's probably your uterus and things stretching to make room for baby. I get the same thing! It's called round ligament pains

I always get round ligament pains in my lower abdomen never my upper. I didn't know that was a thing. Thanks! This is my third baby and it's been my most difficult one yet.

I had bad ligament pain in my lower abdomen. Belly bandit for pregnancy really helped. I don't know if it would help for upper abdominal pain though.
