18 Days Late-BFP then BFN :-(

I am so past the point of confused

Yesterday I got a BFP on a $1 store test, but some said it was a evap. Then today, even though reluctant i got a FRER test and it was immediately BFN.



I am so lost and so confused! I have so many symptoms and I have posted so much. I called a bunch of clinics but they make you jump thru hoops to get a blood test.

I just give up, my body is being beyond evil to me.

Hi, I've seen some of your posts and it sounds tough what you're going through so sending you lots of .
I hope you get an answer...it's still possible you are pregnant as AF hasn't turned up and some people don;t get a BFP till late, but I know what it's like, you don;t want to get your hopes up (after getting BFNs)

Hi, I've seen some of your posts and it sounds tough what you're going through so sending you lots of .
I hope you get an answer...it's still possible you are pregnant as AF hasn't turned up and some people don;t get a BFP till late, but I know what it's like, you don;t want to get your hopes up (after getting BFNs)

Thank you. I need those I just have this gut feeling that I am, and seeing those nasty lil make me just melt into a puddle! Right now, I have this really good feeling that maybe I am just one of those women who wont have a positive test until she is 8-10 weeks. At the same time, I do not want to look crazy.

I am thinking about giving it another week which would put me at 24 days late. Maybe then a clinic would be a little more serious with me. I will eventually find out the truth!

Yeah it's tough...and I'm sure you want to know the reason for the late whatever it is. Our healthcare system in the UK is different so I cant help with any advice there but hopefully you'll be able to see someone soon and get some answers....at the end of the day we can all deal with BFNs and AFs but the not knowing is the worst!

i will be 3 weeks late tomorrow so same here, haven't got a clue anymore, haven't done a hpt for over a week now, lost all hope after so many BFNs, gonna make a doctors appointment tomorrow, don't even know if im ovulating, weird how when you want to get pregnant everything goes haywire!

This happened to me 2 months a go Got A BFP told everyone then I got a BFN followed by AF 5 days late!!! I was told I had a chemical pregnancy but if you have not started bleeding that is a great sign I would try to get an accumalitive HCG from your doctor it should answer some of your questions. I am so sorry you are going through this and I know how frustrating it can be

Thank you. I was worried about chemical, but no bleeding. Not even a spot! I am keeping my head up, not out until the shows up.

It is! I had semi-normal periods before. I was never really late, they were irregular but at least they showed up in a normal time frame! I have been so lost lately, this is consuming my life. Seeing that BFN this afternoon crushed me.

I guess I just gotta let God do is thing and see what happens. A lot of friends know and some of my family. I am going to look like a fool if comes

I would rather have AF start and be disappointed then this! If a baby doesn't come out of this, I don't know how much longer I will TTC. This is a major strain on the heart strings!

I am cramping a little tonight, and very tired. So maybe I just need a few more days and I will get a better result

Just out of curiosity have you tried another $ store test to see if you get a BFP? At anyrate, I would wate another week and if no AF and no BFP, go see your MD, they can give you something to bring on AF, of course after they draw a quantative HCG to make sure your not pregnant.

These are very hard things to deal with!! Keep your heads up, remember it all will be worth it eventually there are so many options!! I hope this is both of yalls months!!!
Also if you dont have a good doctor get one it helps put your mind at ease!!

I have been thinking about getting another $1 store test just to see. All my $1 store tests have been negatives and never changed. So when I got this positive, even though it was outside the time frame, it is still there and I doubt it is an evap. I hate FRER, not only their price but they just are always the biggest

I decided that if I get a next week then I am going to the doctor. At that point I would be 24 days late! They better give me more than just a urine test.

I used frer yesterday morning and it came out positive right away and it was a dark line.. Not sure tge difference between a dark line and a faint line but they seem to be pretty accurate.

Congrats on ur but that comment is rather inappropriate given the circumstances, wouldn't u say? Different women have different levels of HCG so do not always pick up on tests right away. Some never pick up on a pee stick!

Good luck Katia! Hope the stays gone and u get ur soon! And just think, the further gone u are wen u find out, the less u have to wait for the baby! x

No you won't. If this happened to someone you know you wouldn't think that person was a fool- you would feel bad they were disappointed. I'm sure your friends and family are hoping for you just like us.

I went to get a urine test at a doctors office and the nurse wasnt there so I had to use use the pee stick myself....it was from the dollar store!!!! Thats what urine testers use.

I was so angry! I drove so far away to use a $1 test.

So anyways, it was negative and I have no idea what to do.

I want my back!!!!!


Going to doctors next week to meet with a gynocologist. I am so over this! I am 20-some days late!
