18 days late.....ER visit Last Night.....***UPDATE***

So I am still late now 18 days late. Last night I was getting ready to put my son down to bed as I lifted him I felt like I was going to to labor...extreme pressure. Started walking him towards his bed and then had to have my husband put him to bed due to the extreme pain I felt in my uterus and back. Literally laid on the floor where I was crying in pain. We dropped our son off at his grandparents and went to the ER at 11pm last night. They gave me a urine pregnancy test which came back negative and then took blood to make sure they where right.....and they were. They then got me ready for a CAT scan which came back that something was wrong, the doctor came in and told me that I have a very large ovarian cyst and have to follow up with my Gyno tomorrow....so I will know more about what they want to do tomorrow.

Oh geez! I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm glad that you got an answer, though! I had surgery two years ago for endo and they found 5 cysts on my right ovary and 2 on my left, which they removed. I think they can usually remove them pretty easily! Keep your chin up, hope everything works out ok for you!!

That sucks hun !! But on the bright side at least you know whats going on now and can get it taken care of and you will feel much better after its gone!

I know I am just a bit sad, ER doctor said that my gyno will probably want to put me on BC to regulate everything...hormones etc. So who knows how soon it will be for DH and to get our BFP

First hun, i'm sorry you had a rough night, and that you got bad news...I hope you get to feeling better soon...I was told I had a cyst on my right ovary 3 years ago...I wasn't ttc so i wasn't really worried about it, i found out the same way, extreme pain all the sudden and and ER visit...well they told me that if i wasn't trying to conceive they could give me BC to make it go away...i told them I can't take hormones it messes with my cycle and my body...so my doc said he would go in and remove it if I wanted...well i wasn't ttc and i haven't experienced the pain again but maybe 1 or 2 times in 3 years...so i let it be...they were going to go in with a larposcopy or something and remove it...very simple...but i opted out...they might not have to give you bc...they may just go in and investigate and make sure its the only one and then remove it...i may get checked out again if i'm not pg this cycle...if its still there i may opt in to have it removed, because i don't want it to prevent me from conceiving if it is in fact doing that...i hope you will keep us posted on what the doc says...i hope you get to feeling better soon, I know how painful it can be and they really suck at giving you meds for it at the ER...at least they did for me...told me to take motrin....i was like thanks, that does nothing...

Thank you everyone for you support and kind words, I am trying to think postive I guess it just wasnt our month to get pregnant. I am switching my OB due to the lack of my best interest of being seen and getting this cyst under control. My OB wanted to wait until she had an appt open which isnt until the middle of July. I am getting ready to take a two week vacaction to the west coast-6 hour flight and dont feel comfortable being away without having this under control going to PCP tomorrow and getting a different OB referral. Thanks for being there girlies I hope all of you on your ttc journey dont face any complications and doest take to long

That really sucks . I think you are making a good decision on finding a new doc a big cycst shouldnt have to wait more then a day or two to be taken care of when found that is absolutly obsurd on the ob;s part. Hopefully you can get ti fixed and under control for your health and saftey

When I called this moring to follow up my ob she put me on hold over the phone and told me she was going to review my CAT scan while I was waiting. when she got back on the phone she said that the cyst was small when I had the ER doctor telling me the only thing that was concerning her was how very large it was and also how late I am for AF, still counting days. I think my OB lost her mind, knowing that if she had the same problems I have it would have been taken care of today....like you said obsurd!!!

Wow Sammy sounds like my OB doc...he didn't have time to see me today either...since I was already bleeding there was nothing he could do...uuummm how about helping me?? What is wrong with docs these days? Good luck huni I hope you find a good one.

Thanks I will update when I get some more info. I dont really want to go onto BCP but might end up being the best choice out there, I guess only time will tell.

I hate doctors....Saw my PCP today and he is worried that the pregnancy test could be wrong....he is going to order quad blood anyalsis on Friday and and ultrasound to rule it out competely. Cant they all just agree on one thing and help me get back on the game board. I have a appt with new GYN tomorrow at 1pm and then quad on Friday I dont know when they are going to do the ultrasound. I just want my regular cycle back! What a roller coaster ride this month

I really dont even know what to think anymore just rolling with the punches. doctors appt ewth gyn tomorrow, blood work on friday and ultrasound some time this week or next.
