Im 18 weeks and im having terrible ovarian pains...mainly the left side but sometimes both sides...I did google it and all sorts came up (tbh I wish I hadn't now!)
Could be a few things, i had awful right sided ovary pain last time, turns out it was because my Mary had tucked itself behind the womb, great!!! Was ok after baby got here but always get cramps that side now.
Could also have been small undiagnosed cyst that has popped, harmless normally.
Most likely i would say though is it isn't ovary pain but actually round ligament pain which can feel similar and be in pretty much the same place, can also switch sides - its really sore at times! But harmless. You're at a good stage to start getting them regularly as you stretch.
I gotta agree with PP, it's probably RLP which is completely normal and common. Baby's said to hit a growth spurt between 18-20w so you might have a big change happening causing your ligaments to pull more. If it feels like you're being knifed in the ovary area, maybe lasting 30 seconds, mostly when you stand up, twist your body or roll over in bed, it's RLP
