1dpo and Hives?!

Let me start off by saying i have never had hives before. I've been pretty brave in terms what the places ive been and the foods i've eaten and never once in my life have i gotten hives.

This morning i woke up covered in hives! At first i thought i just had a strange case of a bunch of mosquito bites but my mom took one look at me and said they were hives. She then immediately asked me if i was pregnant as apparently she was covered in hives when she was pregnant with me. Shes doesnt remember what part of her pregnancy though.

So my question is has anyone experienced this so close to ovulation?

I'm not sure about hives and BFP but I would try and rule out why you're getting hives incase you're really are preg. Some things to think about would be if you've tried any new foods recently, if you have been around poison ivy/oak(and yes if you have a pet they can transfer it to you), if you have recently tried a new soap/detergent, if it could actually be chicken pox instead, maybe you have developed a new allergy to something you weren't allergic to before(this can happen to kids and adults)....and all this is just my opinion... But getting it checked out incase you're truly preg will help.

Thanks! ive ruled all that out as we had eaten at home ( we have a clean diet) and we dont have pets or anything like that and we live in the city. just thought it was a VERY strange thing to happen. But i did a google search and there seems to be little to no correlation medically except that some women have reactions to the increase in pregnancy hormones. Sigh~ still holding hope though lol
