1st AF after mc!!!

My favorite Christmas present yesterday was actually getting AF, 4 weeks and a day after d&c (we lost our little one at 12 weeks the day after Thanksgiving). While God has given me so much peace in my heart this past month, we are wanting to TTC again soon, but want normal AF first, so this is wonderful! Never thought a period could be so exciting

I know how you feel. I bled for 5 weeks after my miscarriage, ending on 12/5. I wanted a period SO BAD for Christmas, but it hasn't come yet. I'm hoping it will be here soon!

Yay I am happy that you are getting back to normal

Hi Laura, if you have just had your first period after your loss there is a good chance you will ovulate. I would advise you stock up on OPK and perhaps start recording your BBT so you can confirm ovulation and help get your bedding schedule on track.

Never thought I'd be saying congratulations for something like this but I am! Looking forward to getting my AF too (I MC'd naturally on 7th December) lots of for you when you're ready to try in 2011 xxxx
