1st AF post d&c....strange or normal?

So I started my AF post d&c just over 2 weeks ago.

It started with brownish discharge for a few days and finally went into normal AF... that lasted for a couple of days and then started to get lighter and lighter and finally stopped a week after the bleeding started.

All was fine for a few days and then I started bleeding again (a fair bit). That lasted for 1 1/2 days and then it stopped. Then, a few days later I bled again for a day.

Is this normal?

Hi Mellymel, a friend of mine had a similar experience, and it turned out they had missed something during the D&C. She had to have another D&C to get it taken care of. I really hope that you don't have to go through it again, but it may be worth checking with your doc so you don't keep worrying. My friend also had some pain, though, so maybe it's nothing. Wish I could be more helpful. Sending healing thoughts.
