Ds is 1 on Wednesday and do and I are having a nice family day together. On Saturday we are having a little tea party for grandparents and aunts and uncles. In total there will be about 12 of us. I don't really know what food to provide. We were going to have it at around 3(post nap) any ideas?

at 3pm i wouldnt expect much as LO & myself have lunch at 1, dinner at 6.. but then again people may only have a light lunch if they are expecting food..

sandwiches, carrot/celery & dips, crisps, sausage rolls, cherry tomatos, cucumber, breadsticks, cocktail sausages, cheese & pineapple on sticks, cheeses & crakers, cake.

not good at this as we just do a cuppa & cake. lol xx

I'd do a little afternoon tea at that time, so finger sandwiches, scones, birthday cake and hot drinks.

I'll be doing something similar for DS2s 2nd birthday. On my list is

Sandwiches - Cheese, ham & tuna
Cocktail sausages & sausage rolls
Couple of Iceland party platters
Party rings
Little bags of Haribo
Jelly
Pizza & garlic bread
Cheese & pineapple

Almond butter (or any nut butter like peanut butter) and banana/jam sandwiches -cut into small triangles- (the kids I know love this),fruit salad,

Pinterests have tons of tea party ideas. Like Mad hatter birthday tea party, or teddy bear picnic (they have great ideas if you want to do teddy bear tea party).
