1st Birthday Update on my little Monkeybum. . .

Thought Id post a little bit about my gorgeous Brooke, who will be turning a big 1 on saturday

Brooke seems to have really changed in the last 6 weeks or so, she is a proper little girl now-she hardly seems baby at all!! its mad considering that she has only been here a year yet it seems like iv had her forever. Iv no idea how I thought my life was fulfilling enough or worthwhile before I had her.

So, Brooke can

*say mum, dad, nan, hiya, and buhbye
*commando crawl
*go from sitting to laying down and crawl off. . .but not the other way yet!
*wave hello and goodbye
*blow rasperries
*do the actions for twinkle twinkle little star!
*feed herself using her hands

she seems so grown up and I look forward to seeing her every single morning when I get up. . . its STILL a race between me and my OH who will get to her first in the morning!

Brooke LOVES to paint (my kitchen cupboards are covered in her masterpeices!), to roll around at softplay, to jump up and down at her music group, to swim with Daddy on Sunday morning (she's a proper waterbaby!) and to socialise at her playgroup.

I love her so much, its incredible.
