:help:

I am on my 1st (and hopefully only) clomid cycle, 50mg CD3-7. Took my first OPK today (CD10) at 4:00pm. OPK is looking pretty dark! CM is also feeling wet, but not EWCM.

Should I continue once a day around same time, or twice a day?

CD11 @ 4:20pm

Could I have missed my surge?

Even lighter today CD12 @ 7pm. Right side O pains started last night, feel a lot stronger when I lay on my side. CM is creamy but turning wet/watery. Fx

*I'll be updating daily with OPK/symptoms although it seems the OPK board is pretty inactive

CD13 - because I <3 to torture myself, I dipped 2 sticks in today's urine and was very upset when they gave me different results when read at the 5 min mark (as instructed by packaging). However, when they completely dried about 20min later they looked the same AND they look even lighter than the previous 3 days...it's been 6 days since my last clomid pill and I feel pretty significant pain on my left side...hoping it's working!!!!

CD14 @ 1:00pm (had to test early due to meetings later in day, but plan to retest tonight) - barely there line... was kind of hoping it would be getting stronger today.

CD14 @ 9:00pm also attached (darker, but nowhere near + yet)

I'd keep testing until you get a true positive :)

I think I read somewhere that Clomid can mess with your OPK's and give you false positives. It might be that the darker line you saw on CD11 was due to leftover Clomid in your urine that is slowly fading away.

How's today's test looking?

I have also heard about the false positives with Clomid. But I think it's only for a couple days after your last pill. I would keep testing for a least a week. You could ovulate later than you think. I got strong + OPKs CD 19-23 this month.

Thanks! I'm thinking of switching to testing twice a day, but not sure if that will just drive me crazier. Here's today's test I feel it's a bit darker than yesterdays pm test and I've been having some intense right ovary pressure so I hope it's good news!

Here's CD15 @5pm

I agree, it does look a bit darker.

If you have a couple, I would totally test twice a day. The last two cycles I tested once a day from CD 10-14 or so, and tested twice when I started noticing more CM. I test with second morning urine and then again in the late afternoon/evening. Last Saturday I had a negative test in the morning and a positive test in the evening. The test was still positive the next day, but still glad I tested twice!

CD16 @ 5:15pm - lighter again! I feel so frustrated and I'm super "crampy" in my ovaries today. Will retest later tonight again.

I really understand how you're feeling. C'mon body, make up your mind already!! I hope today's OPK is looking better hun.

Thanks SunnyBe...so here's my update. Today is CD17. Wondfo is looking almost + but for whatever reason I bought $tree OPKs and I tested with that one as well using the same urine. $tree looking very neg.

Should i retest later this evening or should I just wait until tomorrow? afraid i'll miss my surge.

CD18 @ 12:20 pm (SMU-4hr hold)

I def. think I missed my surge. Right side pains are moving towards lower back area which I've been reading is associated with egg release vs follicle stimulation. Also down to my LAST wondfo so I'll have to rely on temps and CM for the next few days!

Ohh wow, that's so strange!! Are your temps up today?

Sort of! My temp had dipped a few days ago and it seems to be slowly rising, but not above CL yet :( o pains have subsided today and I'm experiencing creamy CM instead of wet so Fx that it's a slow rise. My chart is attached below.

It could be a slow rise! What does it look like today? Based on your CM I'd say you O'd.

97.2 again...I almost hurled my thermometer across the room when it gave me my temp this morning. Not really sure what to make of things at this point. I've been reading some women ovulate between CD 20-25 on their 1st round of Clomid so I guess it's possible, but I also started developing symptoms of a yeast infection this morning which is going to make it hard to keep up with BD...I'm so frustrated :growlmad:!!!

But I appreciate you checking in...your chart is looking good!

Update FF gave me crosshairs saying I Oed on Sat (CD18)which makes the most sense that's when I experienced my strongest O pains. We'll see if temps stay up.
