I'm currently doing my first medicated IUI and I'm looking for those who have done a similar drug cycle to the one I'm doing (UK - NHS funded) to get an idea of timescales (as I'd like to book a holiday but don't want to risk them clashing if I haven't finished the treatment yet). My cycle diary is:
CD19 - start Norethisterone tablets (2x a day for 7 days)
CD 21 - Buserelin nasal spray 6x a day
Buserelin day 14 - blood test
Busereline day 15 - start Gonal F injections 1x per day
Busereline day 22 - first scan
This is all the information I've been given so far. Presumably at the first scan they will check to see how many follicles I have and their sizes etc (I've already been told that if I have more than 2 mature follicles, it will be cancelled) but I'm not sure what the timescales will be if they aren't mature yet -does anyone know? Is it likely that I'll go back a few days later or a week etc?
