1st lot of blood tests - when do i get the results?

Hiya

I had my booking & dating scan at the maternity hospital 3 weeks ago. They took the first lot of routine bloods but I've not heard anything back from them since.

Do I get notified as to what they were - there is a section within my green notes so i presume at some point they will be inputted. I know its daft but im wanting to know what blood group i am lol x

If there was nothing wrong then they wont tell you the results.

They results will just be added to your notes at your next m/w appt.

In my area, a copy of results send to you (for you to put in your notes) and a copy to your midwife.

My midwife told me to expect it to take up to 8wks - they came through in 4wks

over here if there isn't a problem, you don't hear anything - all my OB said was "blood work looks good" and that was it haha. No news is good news
