they weigh you, check your blood pressure, may take blood. mine didnt.
you need to take a urine sample. and they ask you about any diseses in your family and the dads family, hope this helps
When I went she just filled in forms, asked what hospital I wanted to give birth, go for my scans etc. Asked the Dads full name, my full name, who I wanted to be my next of kin, asked my family history, asked about medication if any that I was on, and gave me a couple of leaflets, phone numbers and told me someone will be in contact with a scan date (which they have )
when i had mine she came to the house and she filled in my maternity notes and asked about any illnesses/ medication i had and if any of my family or the LO father and his family had any problems but ill say its a good idea to find out before because i ended up having to ring my OH and ask him while she was there, but she didnt take my blood pressure or anything as she came to the house
Yeah, she'll just take your weight etc then ask your family history, your partners family history and lifestyle questions, like if you smoke, drink or do drugs xx
When I had mine, she just filled in my notes and as I had already had a scan at 7weeks and organised my appointment then with the scan depeartment, she didn't have to. Didn't need to do a urine sample or have blood's taken, Had my blood's at 12weeks
