1st month after a HSG

I had a hsg and internal ultrasound scan done on the 7th jan. Thankfully everything appeared normal. Dh is booked in for his fertility test in feb. Anyway we bd on cd 14 and 19. It is now cd 24 & my breasts are starting to feel tender. I also fancy eating prawns which I never do! Could these poss be symptoms? I have about another 11 days until af is due. I may be imagining things because I really want the bfp this year! Baby dust to all you lovelies :-)
 
I got pregnant the first month we TTC after my HSG! :thumbup:

I dont know but i also had hsg on 7th jan. Hope it helps our chances. Good luck xxx
 
After I had my hsg (which was normal) the doctor said that there is an increase chance of conceiving after hsg sorry cant recall stats. I didnt get pregnant soon (about 5months) after mine but fingers crossed for you

babysparkles, I had my first HSG on January 8th. We've been TTC for 1 1/2 years now with no luck. My HSG showed everything is good and my DH's count was "off the charts" to quote my gyno. I've heard that after the HSG there is an increased chance of fertility. My AF is supposed to start in 6 days; this is so stressful. I don't want to get my hopes up but I find I'm letting my guard down again (so many disappointments month after month I just shut off my emotions the last 6 months but now I'm feeling hopeful again). I'm hoping to start the new year off with a BFP. Hoping the same for you too!!
 
Hi I had my HSG on July 19th last year and conceived in the September. My FS said your extra fertile for the 3-6 months following HSG. One thing I will say is after 2 years TTC and obsessing every TWW the month I got my BFP I had not one symptom and did the test purely becoz I was POAS aholic. I really hope this is your month and wish you all the best xx

Me too, my main symptom was being 1 day late for AF. And I decided after 30 months TTC and never getting a BFP that that month wasn't any different so couldn't be arsed to test until AF was late.

Cue ultimate shocked face when the positive showed up!!
 
Yep. I had a hsg last year on jan 5th. We bd only once that cycle as it was still painful for me (also had a lap at the same time) & that was our :bfp: we had been trying 2 1/2 years before them & OH' :spermy: was not good.

Wow your stories are so positive & keep me hopeful. I now have light spotting, 9 days before af so hoping that may be another symptom but knowing my luck it prob won't be! X

Hey babysparkles, any luck. I had my HSG on January 8th. AF showed up last night :( Gonna keep on going, try again next month. I wonder if anyone on this thread got a BFP.
 
Hi. I had my hsg on the 18th and am now 2-3 dpo. Iv been reading some amazing stories and am hoping for my first bfp. There is a lot of bfps after hsg so I'm hoping to be one of them!

Hi, had my lap and dye 4th Jan and on first cycle of clomid 100mg after it, staying positive, sorry the witch got you Sammy hopefully next cycle will be lucky for you, sending you hugs xx
