Hi everyone,

My daughter has been due her 1 year jabs for a month now (she's now 13 months just), the last appointment had to be cancelled as she had a temperature too high so the nurse refused to do it, although she was fine and never actually came down with anything. Anyway fast forward to today, she's due them this afternoon. However, I have woken up with a cold! Should I still take her although I don't think she has it?
What if she has it and then catches my cold tomorrow or Friday?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Yes, the only reason they won't is if the child has a temperature. I've taken mine aith sore throats and colds but each time they have still been given as they didn't have a temp x

It's fine as pp said they're concern is usually with high temps as the vaccines can raise temperate too

Thanks for the reply girls.
I'll take her and she'll probably get her temp done again I guess, to be honest I just want her to have them done at this point!

Yes, I would still take her. Unless she is sick with a fever, then there's no reason to avoid them. She could pick up a cold in a few days time from anyone, so if you delay them just for that, you'd probably never get them done! So yes, I would take her.
