How long are you planning on staying in for? I am taking a whole pack of 27 nappies

If your baby grows have feet attached (all in ones) you wont
need baby socks or booties, you wont need the changing mat either.

thanx mumtobeplus1 ill take them out :D and im gonna just grab more nappies if i need them, the changing bag is just in with the wipes so i kinda left it in there just incase :D and not sure how long i need to stay in for :S

I read that we cant put baby in car seat with a snowsuit on so I am not taking the proper bulky one just a fleecy one x

Yep definatly more nappies, they could go through around 8 per day.
Just a couple of ideas:

Change for hospital car park/vending machines/patientline bedside tv & internet.

Snacks/Drinks for you and your birth partner, also something to take your mind
off the early labour, like a magazine/book/puzzle book ect. x

Yeah midwife said to get high energy drinks but not lucozade bcos fizzy so I said I have a pack of small cartons of orange juice (straws attached for ease) and she said that was a idea, you need high calorie drinks and when I looked in hosp shop/vending machine and bottle drink is 1.20 so could get pricey!

Mumtobe do they do internet in your hosp? I wanted to take laptop but assumed would be a no like using mobiles, but I really want to skype DH and show him LO asap!

Ooh, do we need to take our own towels for the shower? It's a silly question that I totally overlooked!

When I went for antenatal tour there were shelves with towels on but think I might take my own as I said to her about taking one for LO and she said yeah bring it all LOL which I was suprised to hear!

In our hospital we have patientline at every bed, its a screen on a
big adjustable stand that you just pull infront of you when your
in bed, its got tv internet & phone on it, you have to buy a card
to make it work, so you would buy a £5 card, and it will charge you
£1 a day for the tv, then whatever per min for phone ect, i love them,
i used it when i was on maternity ward with my daughter, i got to watch
the soaps, go online and make calls ect. Although that was back when you
werent allowed mobiles in hospitals, but they have changed that now, and
you can have your mobile on now.

Yes! Iam, they will give you one if you dont have one, but obviously
it will be a hard, washed out towel that millions have used before you.
Some people might not mind, and i wouldnt in an emergency, but as
ive got time to plan and have things with me when the time comes
id rather have my own lovely soft towel. x

Aw they never mentioned anything like that on my antenatal tour :(

Also dont suppose they have cam anyway?

We are allowed off the ward into the corridor to use mobile, but obviously baby doesnt come off ward unless coming home, I was thinking of buying a cheap skype phone but not sure I have the money for that now, so will have to see! xx
