She will eat normally for a couple of ounces, then spit the bottle out and start crying because she is still hungry. But when I try to give the nipple back to her, she fights it, locks her gums, plays with it, or chews on it and looks like she has no idea what she's doing. Sometimes she'll eventually open back up and take it, and sometimes it takes awhile. She acts this way with her binky too. She used to feed just fine, but now every feeding is a struggle. We're using avent bottles. Is this normal? It's so frustrating for me and her.

Does burping help?

We have this trouble with our 6 week old, 90% of the time the issue for him is trapped wind after 2-3 of his 5oz, So we stop the feed half way through and persist with getting that pesky burp out, it takes up to 10 minutes or more sometimes but he'll feed fine again after.

We burp LO every couple of ounces or she can't keep going, it might be worth moving to the next teat size too. They get frustrated if the milk isn't coming out fast enough. We just bought 1 pack if 2 teats to try out and she loved the varifow so we replaced then all.
