Hi. I was wondering has anyone had 2 periods in 1 month?
I had my last period 9 days early which went on to last 12 days, I've had nine days break from bleeding and it's started again 😣
I am not on any hormones (the pill etc), I'm not pregnant, and haven't had children.

Just looking to see if this has happened to anyone else, I'm stressing so much about it. Any ideas what it could be?

My GP has mentioned possible premenopausal or thyroid issues
(I am currently awaiting another GP appointment)

Hi, everyone has funny cycles once in a while, you doctor may just ask you to monitor things. Do you have pain, is the bleeding heavy?

I had a cycle where I bleed on and off for almost 100 days, but I had a fibroids which were eventually removed. You will need an ultra sound to confirm,

It's worth getting it checked. Sometimes you can have these weird cycles when that happens. I had a time several years ago when I pretty much bled for 6 weeks. I had a normal period, spotted after that for several weeks and then got another normal period much earlier than I'd expected. I did have a gyn appointment and they did an exam to check my cervix and for fibriods and ran some blood tests. All was normal. I had taken my birth control straight through that month without a break, something lots of people do 100% of the time, but isn't normal for me. But I was traveling for about 3 weeks for work and it was just a hassle and I didn't want a period. I think that combined with jet lag (I went from the UK to Hong Kong to Australia, back to the UK and then like 5 days later to San Francisco for a week, then back to the UK), my body was just messed up and exhausted. I had a lot of stress on me at the moment as well. Everything went back to normal the next month and I've never had anything else like that happen since. So it's good to get it checked, but yes, also weird things like this just happen sometimes.

Thanks both. I didn't have any pain at all with the bleeding it seems to have come afterwards, have felt crampy since it stopped.
My GP is sending me for a scan which I'm hoping won't be too long to wait.
I've had a lot of emotional symptoms aswell my mood is like a rollercoaster. Hoping my next period will be normal whenever that shows up as I'm unsure when it's due now lol.
