The past few days my baby hasn't been happy unless he's feeding. He stops feeding and is sick then routes again as if he's starving!
Today I've literally managed to put him in his Moses basket for an hour now he's back on the boob!
He seemed so content between feeds before, is he having a growth spurt? Also anyone who has been through this how long does it last? My husband is back to work in 2 weeks and I'm dreading how I'll manage with my other 2 kids if he's still feeding in this way!
I've got 2 slings that I've tried him in too but he's not always happy in them!

There is a growth spurt at two weeks, hang in there mama!

Oh yes, this will pass, trust me.... They are going through a growth spurt and slowly becoming more aware of the world around them. Overwhelming, they need mom!

Hang in there :hugs:

My baby is 10 days old and I swear I spend 20hrs a day nursing. It will get easier :) hang in there!

Well yesterday he was dream baby!
Fed then slept for an hour or 2 then another feed and then sleep!
Definitely putting this down to a growth spurt and will be more aware when the next one comes!!

Google "wonder weeks" it will outline developmental growth spurts that are different than their physical ones, but they usually are just as needy then. GL and congrats on your baby

I just have a hungry boy! At good times he's 1-2 hours max between feeds. At others he's 15-20 mins and he's routing again and sucking his fists!

Not just a boy thing. My six week old girl loves to eat.
