Hi again, just commented on your BBT question! There's almost no point checking your cervix in the 2WW, it's just far too early for it to be doing anything pregnancy-related if you conceive. It can take a few weeks for it to move up to a 'pregnant' position i.e. high and closed. I used to check it during the 2WW and it caused me so much confusion, then read plenty of good advice from other ttc ladies and decided not to bother!
Just before AF comes, it should move down low and be open but I have read so many posts of women saying this doesn't happen for them til a day or 2 into AF. I personally find it helpful to check at 13/14 dpo because just before AF (TMI!!) I get brown CM/spotting and my cervix is obviously open so those 2 signs for me are really helpful. Just wish I DIDN'T get those signs!!
Good luck - how many dpo are you?
