My DS has just turned 2 and DD is 4. Lately when they're playing chasing or if she jumps out at him to scare him he can get really scared. Sometimes he enjoys the game, takes it in the spirit it's intended in and joins in. But other times he really is scared, running and crying. Has anyone experienced this with their kids? Any advice please? My son also had a stroke at 7 weeks old and although he is doing amazingly well physically and has no cognitive impairment it worries me, as brain injury can lead to an increase in anxiety, depression, behavioral issues etc.

No advice doll, just didn't wanna read and run. Hope your little dude is okay, think he's at an age where they do start getting frights etc and have vivid imaginations. My 5 year old and 2 year old can be exactly the same. Play fine one minute then the next time they're chasing the two year old is in tears. A lot of the time with her however it's tiredness, and she's not in the mood for games lol.

Xx
