Recently my little boy would from time to time wake up in the night and not settle back over and I would give in and give him a bottle I'm not talking often once a fortnight if that. This week he has woken 3 times during the night the first time I gave him a bottle as he had hardly eaten all day he didn't go straight to sleep this time he talked to himself and then fell asleep, the past two nights I decided I wasn't giving a bottle as I didn't want to turn the bottle into a regular thing. The first night I went in and put his dummy in and he moaned/cried out occasionally for a hour and a half he wasn't actually crying then he went to sleep, last night he woke for his dummy at 3 then went to sleep then woke at 4 and again moaned for a hour. There isn't anything else wrong with him that I can tell, he goes to sleep by himself at bedtime, he doesn't nap, he goes to pre school twice a week. Has anyone else been through this I'm shattered.
