Yup, you read right...All that's happening tomorrow! :happydance: Wish they could spread these things out a bit more. I feel like all I do is sit and wait for the next step, and now they're happening all at once! So I go for my scan at 1:30 with my hubby and eldest daughter, then see the consultant - really nervous about that- at 2:00, followed by the flu jab at 6:30.

I used to never be nervous about scans before, but this time I'm so anxious to hear everything's looking fine. And as for the flu jab - I'm still torn about needing to get it, but my doctor is insisting it's the right thing to do. I've never had one before. They say every pregnant woman should have one, but in the States with my previous 4 they never even mentioned it?!

I'm babbling on now....I'll let you know how things go tomorrow! xx

I never had one with my daughter either...honestly I don't think I would get one if they wanted me too...never gotten one in my life!

Ive always gotten them and got one yesterday. Usually the worst thing is the sore arm which is at its worst when you raise it above your head..but that's about it really.

Good luck :hugs: x

I spoke with my consultant, and again with a senior mid-wife, and decided to get the flu shot. Ouch! And my arm is still killing me today, but other than that, I feel fine.

My Baby shows no markers for Downs, and looks big and healthy. Was waving at us :cloud9: She remarked on how active Baby was, but once she really got started (and I relaxed) she kept commenting on how "chilled out" Baby was.

Consultants app't went great. Even though my BMI is high, she says I "carry it well", and said it may be possible for me to labor in water, even though I won't be able to give birth in the water. It's better than nothing! I have to go for my GTT on Tuesday, but I feel confident about that. I had GD in my 3rd pregnancy, and was able to control it with diet, so it's no big deal if it happens again. I have to see my midwife weekly starting at 36 weeks, just so my blood pressure can be monitored. So all in all, a very exciting, very happy day! :happydance:
