20 Week Scan today!!! **Updated with Pic**

I have my 20 week scan today and I'm so excited!! We already know he's a boy, but I can't wait to see my little guy on the screen wriggling around. I'm also nervous, though I can't explain why. I get nervous before every appointment. I keep thinking that something will have gone wrong and I have no idea why. But I'm more positive than negative. My mom and my BF's mom are coming to the appointment as well, so they're pretty excited. This is my mom and dad's 1st grandchild and my BF's mother's 3rd grandchild (but first from the BF). I'll be sure to update with pictures later! The scan is at 1.

Hi ladies!! Sorry I didn't update yesterday, we were in a bit of a rush as we had to go look at apartments and whatnot (ended getting a 2 bedroom townhouse so excited about that!).

Everything went great at the scan! Little guy had all his organs and limbs. Heart rate was 150 and he was 50th percentile, so exactly average. The placenta and umbilical cord both are normal and his spine looks great. He was moving around quite a bit and we also got to see him suck in some amniotic fluid. It was amazing and I could have honestly watched the screen for hours. But I couldn't lol. I can't wait to meet the little guy in April!!

That was me! I hadn't seen him since my 8 week scan and I was so surprised at how much he'd grown! I mean, I know babies grow quickly, but it was still shocking. Last time he looked like a little gummy bear lol. Good luck tomorrow! Definitely let us know how it goes!

It's amazing how much they grow in such little time! Last time with my son, I saw him on a monthly basis until 24 weeks because he was considered high risk. I had conceived immediately after a miscarriage. He was 100% okay. I definitely miss seeing the progression though and I feel like my daughter will be jealous that he has tons of scan photos compared to her. Tyler never liked scans or dopplers anyway. He would turn away and his heart rate would raise. My doctor says they can be loud or upsetting for your little one. Still would have liked to see her just as often though!

I have noticed that I have been a lot more relaxed this time around. Between chasing my almost 2 year old and holiday season I hardly have time to worry. Haha. I planned, cooked and hosted for Thanksgiving. I will do the same for Christmas. My birthday is in January. Tyler's is in February. Baby shower in March and then she's due in April.

Today I am trying to finish the first painting I am doing on her wall.

She was snuggling with the placenta like it was a teddy bear so they couldn't measure her face. I got a decent arm picture though!
