My LO has started refusing his nap time feed and that was the last one left so I think it's all over for us. I'm really sad about it, I'm going to miss breastfeeding. I suppose I'll just have to get a move on with TTC number 2 so I can do it all over again.

If you don't want to give it up yet, remember that toddlers can go on nursing strikes too. You could keep offering for some time to make sure it's a matter of being done instead of a matter of it being a nursing strike.

That being said, if your toddler is only nursing once a day, your nursing days certainly are near the end if they're not already there!

He has been feeding less and less for a while so I'm pretty sure he's giving it up, he has been eating more for lunch as well. I have been offering still but he's displaying all the same signs as when he gave up his other feeds so I'm pretty certain he's giving up.

Well there's always next baby!

I suppose on the plus side I can stop thinking can I breastfeed in this when I get dressed in the morning!

My daughter just self weaned at 19.5 months. I thought I'd be relieved, but I miss her so much. It's only been three days so perhaps I'm being over emotional about it, but still, I loved the cuddle time. There is no way she'll just curl up on my lap for 15 minutes at a time now. :(

You've done so well to make it this far! Congratulations :)
