As you can see from the title, I have finally decided to go see a RE since we have been actively trying for 22 months.

Background on us.... We are both healthy 33 y/o's. This will be our first child. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism/graves disease back in November which they believe has contributed to why I am not pregnant yet. I have been on medication since December 2012, my levels are in the normal range now and I have been told that it is safe for us to try to get pregnant.

Throughout the past year and a half, I have had an HSG, transabdominal/transvaginal ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound and plenty of bloodwork to test my thyroid levels and fertility levels. Everything has checked out fine and I have been told they are all normal.

Hubby has also gone for 2 different sperm analysis tests and things also checked out fine other than they said it was a little viscous (thick). He is trying to drink more water since he was told that could help.

I temp and do OPK's and I do indeed ovulate. I have cycles that range from 29 - 31 days each month, and I've noticed that I ovulate on CD13 and then CD16 every other month. Its interesting to see a pattern.

One thing I have noticed is that my periods are not very heavy at all. I do have uncomfortable cramping for a day before and the day of AF but it goes away following. My first day is considered Medium bleeding then light and then goes to spotting. It usually only lasts maybe 3 or 4 days. I am starting to wonder if I have a problem with my uterine lining.

We time BD according to my temps/OPK's, I feel like we have covered everything each month in order to get pregnant but it just never happens. Thats where the appoint with the RE comes in. Its in 2.5 weeks, I am so nervous and excited at the same time to be able to talk to someone about this. I have been working with my obgyn and endocrinolgist but they can only do so much. I am really hoping that we will be able to narrow down what the issue is so that we can have a baby. I am getting a bit worried about having a baby due to my age. I know its still possible but lets face it, we aren't getting any younger.

Anyway, I am looking for some buddies to go through this new process together. I could really use some encouragement and support through this process. Anyone in a similar situation? Any words of wisdom/advice?

Always love hearing from you lovely ladies...

Hi, We are just over 2 years.

SA for hubby also great but thick - He is now drinking water and I have him on vitamin C and zinc along with multi vitamins just because it cant hurt.

Me ... different story. I have had 2 tube flushings and everything looks fine. Ultrasounds show everything is clear. Finally had my Lap last month which showed everything is fine... nothing physically obviously wrong with me which I guess is good news but the WORST at the same time. They did find 2 cysts just swimming around in my ab but this does not affect fertility. No Endo, Pcos or anything else just cant get pregnant. I am FINALLY being put on a list for a fertility specialist in my area but will take 6 months to see one. I am overweight but working on it, and trying soy for the first time this month. I am addicted to temping, I ovulate every month and since increasing my vitamin intake have seen my ovulation change from 17 - 20 to day 13 - 16. As I ovulation Drs refused to put me on anything to help with that so no clomid or anything like that has been tried.

Life being infertile is the worst thing I have ever experienced. Up for being buddies and supporting eachother during the timed sex week and horrid tww!

PS love that picture, watched that movie the other day and bawled at that spot. Crazy how one clip can resonate so deeply ....

Hi just wanted to say welcome. Hope your appointment goes well.

Went in for another cycle day 3 test and received my results today and my FSH was a 7.4

My dr said they like to see this closer to 2 or 3 so now I am completely freaked out. Does this mean I have a dimished ovarian reserve? What happens if it is? I have a list of questions for my RE, I hope we find out something soon. We want a baby so bad but my husbands viewpoints are a bit different than mine on IUI or IVF so this could get interesting.

Never thought I would be going through this sort of thing. Thanks for the responses ladies!

I honestly have no idea what that means ... sorry hun.
Didn't they explain what that means for you and fertility?

I honestly have no idea what my numbers are, all he said was it looked fine ...
Stupid Drs (no offense to Drs on this site)

My dr indicated that your FSH at cycle day 3 should be closer to 2-3. With elevated levels it could indicate an issue with my ovarian reserve. My RE will be doing further bloodwork to determine this though.
