So just been back from my appointment today and Baby seems To be measuring a week and 3 days ahead.

He has always measured about a week ahead at every appointment so far and is weighing in at 510g which is about 1.13lbs.

Is this normal? My doc is not the most informative person even when I ask questions so would love if anyone could share if they think Baby may come a week or so early? Or how much your babies have weighed at 22 Weeks? I know every Baby develops differently but would be nice To compare notes!

My dd was always higher on the measurement chart, although I'm not sure in terms of if she was measuring ahead in terms of dates but possible as she was always at the peak of the "normal rate".

My midwife told me after I'd had her that she knew she was going to be big so it Could be that you're baby is big. Having said that, half way through baby has plenty of time to even out so to speak.

My dd was born 2 weeks and a day late and was 10lb 1oz.

Not sure if that really helps! X

I'm not sure but did they change your due date then? My baby has fluctuated a few days; first bigger then smaller, and my due date has been from May 27 to May 30, not like a few days matters but I thought it was weird they changed it.
If your baby is consistently bigger then maybe he will come earlier but really due dates are a pure estimate :)

Mine both measured ahead from the start (4 days and 6 days) then scans put them on high percentile. Especially DS who was estimated to be 10-11lb at birth. I was diabetes tested to see if that was the reason for big babies but it was fine so I just grow them big! My fundal measurements were always way ahead too. DD was 15 days late and DS 12 days late - but ended up as an elective section so would probably have been even later.

My dd measured 2 to 3 weeks ahead by growth scans. Meaning, parts of her were 2 weeks ahead and other parts were 3 weeks ahead when they measured her on scans. My perinatologist didn't think it was any big deal and said it happens all the time as babies grow at different rates. I don't know what the full term outcome would have been. My water broke early and baby was born at 35w2d, weighing 5lb 11oz.

Ladies thanks for the replies! So interesting how babies grow then fall behind then catch up. They are such amazing little things it always astounds me how incredible it all is.

Wannabemomy they have not changed my due date it is still 27may as it orginally was and according To my ovulation chart the 27th is my most precise due date as well.

I think Baby is prob just going thru a growth spurt and will even out as the Weeks go by? As ldc has said, it makes sense as there is still plenty of Weeks left ahead for Baby To grow then slow down and even out.

Very normal. I measured two weeks ahead with my 2nd and with this one. My 2nd was really tall, and so was my 3rd but i can't remember if i measured big with him maybe by a week in the end.

I measured ahead with first. I delivered a month early. But, he was 52 cm, so pretty tall already (very skinny though).
Same story this time. He's measuring a week ahead again. I'm pretty curious how tall he'll be at birth & if he's gonna be early too.
