I have hit a point where I am just constantly tired ALL THE DAMN TIME. :coffee:

I've started noticing it after I couldn't quite recover from Black Friday shopping. Every year I go with my in-laws and this year we were out from 7pm on Thursday until 3pm on Friday. I came home Friday and slept all day, then slept all day on Saturday and Sunday. It hasn't gotten better though.

Monday came and I found myself falling asleep at work, I had to struggle to keep myself awake constantly. I came home and I fell asleep right after work, woke up to put my son to bed with my husband and fell back asleep. It has been the same exact story for yesterday and today as well.

I don't have any advice because I'm right there with you. I'm on the couch in my jammies at 10:30 trying to entertain my toddler and dog with minimal effort and counting down until his nap time. I'm wiped. We spent the weekend doing labor intensive yard work, and I think I just may never recover.

I was exhausted throughout my first pregnancy, and it had been better up til this point with this one, but here I am again. Absolutely fatigued. I wish I was one of those ladies that gets an awesome second tri energy boost! My husband would love it, too. ;-)

LOL with my first I was so tired in the first tri and then second tri came along and I had so much energy. I don't think the fatigue kicked back in again until well into the 3rd tri. My poor, poor hubby lol.

They've been perfectly fine this entire pregnancy, I eat very iron rich foods along with my prenatals.

I was in the same boat around 22 weeks. It only lasted a few weeks--iron levels were okay and everything. Just try to drink lots of water and stay rested, baby is probably just going through a growth spurt right now

Are you getting enough saturated fats? Babies tend to take these away from us when growing. I personally eat a lot of butter (100%, grassfed)...which years ago rid me of chronic fatigue practically overnight . But coconut oil should also work. Just not as yummy, I rather use it for cooking.

That is some extreme Black Friday shopping!! Can you take a nap in your car on your lunch break or something? I have days sometimes where I just can't get through without a little nap. Even 15 minutes helps.

I actually don't eat a lot of fatty foods so maybe this is something worth trying. I used to eat toast with butter every morning and sometimes for a snack before bed but I haven't been doing that lately.

Not all fats are the same. The transfat we get from certain foods should certainly be limited but natural saturated fat can really restore energy :). Butter on toast is a good approach. I put it quite thickly on coconut bread actually.
Avocado, fatty nuts (in moderation) and fatty fish would also be a great addition to your diet.

I can totally relate! I'm super tired, but I eat well, do light excercise but also have a nearly 4 year old so no time to rest this pregnancy!

Mmm like Marumi was saying about the healthy fats too. Peanut butter is always a good choice. Nice little protein energy boost.

I'm 22 weeks as well and have been having this same problem for the past week. Hopefully it is baby going through a growth spurt like someone suggested, that would make it worth the sudden extreme fatigue, hopefully we get past it soon!
