23 Years Old and TTC #1!

Hi all!
I'm new to ttc forums
My partner and I first starting trying in October, directly after I got off the pill. I never took my pill on time or even daily to begin with, which was a very stupid mistake. But after I came completely off my periods were completely regular. Which was odd to me because when I started birth control years ago my period was all over the place. Looking back now I realize it was a blessing in disguise I didn't conceive the first month now realizing it's not recommended. We didn't try in November to the end of December, but I actively starting tracking and trying in January. Today I am 13 DPO I tested at 10 DPO and 11 DPO not even so much as a faint positive. I know many woman on here have been trying for much longer so I still feel very lucky still being in the beginning of the process... But it's also frustrating reading stories of ladies who conceived the first month. But I am so happy for them! AF is

Hi Kayla.

At the end of this month we've been Ttc for a year with one mc at 8 weeks and now 4 months of not anovulatory cycles. So I get the frustration.

How are you tracking your cycles? When are you planning to test again?

Hi Kayla- my fingers are crossed for you!

Thank you for the kind words mrsgreen. I started bleeding on Thursday the 11th and it's finally starting to become lighter. Looks like I had a chemical at 5 weeks. I had no idea how much you can feel in such a short period of time but once again, I appreciate your response as I know you understand how this feels.

Still trying to remain positive and hopeful. I hope everyone is doing well!

Beanie- it's very devastating. The week before my loss we saw our babies heart beat. I'll never forget seeing that and thinking well he (I was convinced it was a boy) has a heartbeat so everything is fine.

Helloooo and welcome! I highly recommend temping, it can feel like a lot of work but it really is the only way to confirm ovulation (besides ultra sound). Temping will save you a lot of questioning in the long run.

Good luck and welcome again!
