I am 24 weeks pregnant and I have been feeling some bad and (at times, unbearable) lower back, lower abdominal and left upper thigh pains. They feel like continuous cramps. I left this sort of pain during my periods. I am kind of worried and I don't want to be bothering my OB/GYN nurses/doctor.

Should I be concerned? Do I need to consult with a nurse or the doctor?

Hiya hun, I really don't know what it could be but it seems you are worried and in this case I would ALWAYS go and see your OB/GYN or doctor, it is always best to be safe than sorry in my opinion. Besides it may be something they can help you with so that you aren't in as much discomfort :hugs:

I have been having this too! Hope you get an answer soon:)

Hi hun I've got kind of this my bottom part of my back and the top of my leg I had this on my other pregnancy when I sit down with my legs crossed it kills to get up. Last time I had to see a back person lot but all she said was to wear this sling thing. It may be the way baby is laying when I got to about 32weeks it went. Yours may be different to mine but this is my forth child and I've always change d the house about so I think that's what's made my back weaker and I'm 30 so I'm getting on abit lol xx

Its all very fine and well people saying they have this too - but personally you should call your midwife hun and make sure its nothing to worry about

Thank you all for your quick responses. I'm thinking that since I'm on my laptop pretty much all day as I'm wrapping up my graduate studies this semester. I'm sitting a lot with my legs crossed...I usually feel lower back pain, but it goes away, however today has been the ultimate worst! Do you suggest I take acetominophen?
