And I am nervous, excited & apprehensive, was anyone else like this?
I'm hoping for a boy deep down, but as long as it's healthy & I will love anything I get. But there's always that hope and tiny bit of disappointment I'm sure?

It's a girl!

Good luck, hope you hear :blue:!!

I wanted a boy both times, and if I would have been told girl the first time, I would have been a little down, but I had a boy. Then the second time, when I was told girl, I didn't even care because she was healthy and I wouldn't trade her for a million boys now :)

It's completely normal to have a preference, so don't worry about it :)

Update us when you find out!

Dee

Thank you for putting my mind at ease, I feel bad for having a preference and hoping for blue. Like you say when you have something healthy that's all that matters. But you have had my ideal, would love a boy then a girl.
Keep all crossed for me and I will keep you updated after the scan x

Cool deal! Yeah, I was a little tiny bit sad I wasn't having a boy because of being scared on what to do with a girl. Boys tend to be simple and easier for me, but she is an angel and I love her :)

Either way, even if you feel a little disappointed, don't let anyone tell you different, gender desire/disappointment does exist. People may not agree with that, but it does. I have seen it many times, and I have degrees in Psychology.

Waiting anxiously for your update!

Dee :)

That's reassuring madseasons that you are certainly qualified to advise that there is an actual condition. I'm trying to eat breakfast but nervous. My appointment is 2pm (GMT) but have blood tests before hand for the specialist next week (hashimotos which makes it precious). Husband is convinced a boy so I hope he isn't too shocked/disappointed if not.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just remember that there will be a little shock and awe if you don't get what you desire, but trust me, once you see that baby for the first time, you will get over it rather quickly.

If this is your first baby, you can always try again :)

Good luck!

With my first o didn't mind what the sex was, so I was just excited. With my second I wanted a girl so badly, I barely slept the week before the scan and was shaking before I went in x

CONGRATS! I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but TRUST ME, when you see her for the first time, instant love :)

Thank you all, I had to start a new thread as couldn't attach a picture to this so you will see out baby girl. I burst out crying when I see her in 3d just as she was so real and literally was seeing her face for the first time x
