Please tell me in worrying unnecessarily!

LO is 24 weeks and I took her to clinic today to be weighed - she hasn't been weighed in 6 weeks.

She was born big 8 lbs 14, but list a lot, gained it and has followed 25th centile since 6 weeks. We combi feed but have done this very gradually since 15 weeks.

She now weighs 16 lbs 13 and has jumped to 75th centile! I'm worrying I'm doing something wrong. She has 4x 7oz bottles of formula and between 2-4 breastfeeds in 24 hours.

Please help - has this happened to anyone else?

Did you speak to the health visitor at the clinic? My baby didn't have quite a big a jump as yours, she went from the 25th at birth to 55th at 6 weeks and the HV said that as I was exclusively breastfeeding it wasn't anything to worry about. If I'd have been formula feeding they'd have wanted to look into it though.

Not sure if that was just one of those things that health visitors worry about that is completely ok though!

I asked the HV If she was concerned. She said no just a bit shocked, so she just says to get her weighed again in 4 weeks
I'm still worrying!

There's probably nothing to worry about. My LO has been all over the place. She was born in the 50th percentile for weight and then dropped to the 25th as a result of reflux. Her reflux subsided around 6 months and she jumped up to the 75th percentile. At 9 months, she's in the 15th percentile. She's extremely active and her pediatrician has told me it's normal for these babies to be on the small side at this age. He basically said that as long as they don't fall off the curve in either direction and are gaining steadily, they're fine.
