So .............. finally he arrived 5 days late!! 
It was Tuesday night and about 11pm and i turned to my OH and said i dont feel very well i feel a bit funny never felt like that before so he told me to put my book down and get some rest, so i finished my last chapter it was by then 11:45pm i thought i better go for a wee first because otherwise i'll be up in an hour .... went for a wee and in the loo and on tissue BLOOD
i ran upstairs waving these bits of tissue around screaming at my OH omg whats happening we need to go hospital .. threw clothes on and grabbed bags and got in car and left phoned hospital to tell them i was on the way and what happened (im RH Neg so scared was to do with that again).
Got to hospital at 12:15am (wednesday now) and was examined i was 2cm dilated but not in labour and no contractions just BH's and cervix hadn't softened or shortened, however i was in pain i cant explain the pain it wasnt contractions it was just continuous pain .. they presumed it was my bloody show so made me walk around the hospital for an hour, came back and then they made me do it again ... came back to my room and was like NO MORE
it hurts to walk
5am i was examined again and still the same, then my hind waters went as it was very minimal so walking kind of helped, i was then transferred to another ward and taken off labour ward as i was not in labour
by 3pm i was in so much agony i kept buzzing for pain relief but they said i was not in labour so all i can have is paracetamol, i was on pure agony i was in labour but they were adamant i wasnt, i buzzed again at 3:45pm saying please i cant cope i need pain relief NOW so she sat with me for 10mins counting my contractions she said you haven't any i said i know its a continuous pain i have but it hurts please i need something, she said no because im not in labour so i screamed roof down and demanded she examined me NOW so she went and got gloves etc and guess what .......... i was 8cm dilated!!!!!!!!!!!!
So by 4pm i was rushed to delivery and was 9cm by then, to late for an epidural or anything else, so all i had was gas and air ... they had to cut me as i was fully dilated but pushing was becoming a struggle, they went to get the vontoose and told me to push hard so they can fit cap on ... i pushed and in that push he came out so didnt even get vontoose on
Pure agony, pure pain, but so worth it he is amazing

**when they say your contractions need to be 3 mins apart ignore them, listen to your own body you will know if your in labour or not**
**also ladies pack lots of maternity pads and bottles of lucozade**
