2nd round of clomid looking for a buddy?????

This is going to be my second round of clomid today is cd 1 ill be starting my clomid the day after xmas I was looking for some bubbys I'm soooooooooooooo hoping it works this time my and my dh have been trying for almost two years to concive our second child we have an 8 year old girl who wants a little bother or sister

I'm on my second round right now but it's complicated. Long story short, last cycle (1st clomid cycle in 18 months) I did 50mg, got a good 20mm follicle, did the trigger shot, had an IUI, CD 21 progesterone showed ovulation but weak, and BFN.

This cycle, did 100mg of clomid, and my CD12 scan showed two small 10mm and 13mm follies I was heartbroken, makes no sense, 50mg worked, why did the 100mg not?? Who knows, so they stair-stepped me to immediately on CD12 start 5 days of 150mg of clomid. Tomorrow is another follicle scan, so fx'd. If all is well, I'll do the trigger, then another 5 days later to help keep the progesterone levels up. Will also be doing another IUI 36hrs after the trigger if all is well.

Lets hope we all get BFP's for 2014!!

Hi clomid can be taken because of two reasons: helping O or helping the quality of the eggs. If you are taking it because of the first reason you take it from cd 2 to cd 6 if it is the second one - cd 5 to cd 9.

I am cd2 to cd6. It has side effects. And I can honestly say I have become very sensitive .

Well now I'm on to 200mg of Clomid because I still don't have any large follicles. I am so frustrated right now. I have ovary pain, and twinges here and there, but only on the left and the biggest follicle on that side is a 10 and it hasn't grown for 3 ultrasounds now...I have a 13mm on the right and an 11mm on the right they didn't notice last time so maybe I'll get some activity there, but doubtful. I'll probably move on to Femara after this.

Well today I took the first 200mg dose and now I have the beginning of a migraine and the hot flashes are awful! Hope this means it's going to work this time. Hope you ladies are doing well.

Hi I had hot flashes yesterday all day. They were not strong but very annoying. I hope I produce a good follicles this month. They did blood test for me last month. This month nothing .

I'm on CD21, no +opk yet Going in for a progesterone draw Thursday, so I'm anxiously awaiting that!! Has anyone had the same dose of clomid make them ovulate one month, but not the next??

@Jayhawk I had that. 50mg worked one time (most recent m/c), but then when we tried it again in September I failed to O, despite being nearly 20lbs lighter!

hey ladies I am new to things like this but I think it would be easier to talk to people that are going through the same things that I am...a little bit about myself...
my husband and I have been TTC for 24 months...in july of 2013 had the hsg procedure done that was normal..got pregnant the week following that that ended in a tubal pregnancy...I started taking clomid 50mg (days 3-7) in December and this month of course...now in the tww hoping for a BFP!!!! how are the rest of you ladies doing?

Yeah, that'll be my next request if I'm right about not O'ing. He's only giving me one more round of Clomid, so he better let me try 150 mg!!
