2nd trimester weight loss

Hey ladies did anyone experience weight loss in second trimester only I'm 18 weeks and have lost 2.2kg since week 13 xx

There's definitely a range your MW would like for you to stay in. Depending on your PP weight. But 20 weeks is when I was told to really try to start watching what you eat as to not overeat because that's when baby really starts adding on the fat. Right now they are just taking nutrients from YOUR reserves which will leave you feeling very exhausted.

I was 102lbs PP 5'2" and have gained a pound for every week that I have been pregnant xx right on track

I think it's all quite relative. As DaisyDreamer there are guidelines that your MW would like you to stick to. But each pregnancy is different etc. With DD I gained 5 stone in total so about 70lbs and with this pregnancy I'm nearly 24 weeks and haven't gained anything [I go up and down the same 3lbs] and baby is completely fine and healthy. I do workout 3 days on and 1 day off quite intensively but I did that prior to pregnancy and I eat as clean and healthy as possible.

Your MW will let you know if she has a worry about something.

I've hardly seen my midwife this time around. Seems in second pregnancy its not so much a keep an eye on things situation well I was 74kg when I first got weighed she hasn't weighed me since at my last appointment and now I'm 71kg xx

I really wouldn't worry too much. 2.2kg isn't that big of a weight loss in the scheme of things and as everyone says there is plenty of time to gain that back or not. As long as you're eating and drinking healthy/enough then baby is getting everything they need. But if it is really bothering you then phone your midwife and have a chat.
