3 days late and no af symptoms. when should i test?

Hey ladies!
My husband and I are ttc. I am new at this so I thought I'd ask anyone out there. I have VERY normal 28-29 day cycles and can always tell a week out that af is coming. Well I am three days late and have no af symptoms. I tested on day 1 of missed af and got a bfn. How long should i wait to test again and what is the most sensitive test I can take? Also, the only symptom I am having is severe exhaustion. I have to take a nap every day. Any thoughts?

You should be able to test again now and have a reliable answer. However, you may be like me and end up over a week late and still no BPF. Good luck

Hi,
No af yet. I have an appointment for a blood test on the 29th . My sister didn't test positive for awhile with any of her babies.
