My health visitor said that Pierre should now be aiming for 3 meals a day and his weight isn't quite keeping up on his chart compared to what it was.

He always had one solid food meal a day and I try to give him two if he'll have it but a lot of the time he isn't interested. On top of this he sometimes barely even wants his one lot of solid food and sometimes won't even drink all his milk at the moment.

Is this normal? I'm really worried that the next time he see's the health visitor he will be even more far from the line on his chart. He's about 6 months old.

Load of rubbish, in the first year they are mainly meant to have milk. HVs are supposed to not even advise weaning at all until 6 months.

You cannot force a child to eat more then he wants too , max is almost 6 months and he still sometimes only eats 2 meals i dont force him on the third one as he only wants his milk sometimes ..just go with the flow hun ure baby will let you know if he wants solids
