My little girl is 3 weeks today - and she is breastfed only.
My DH weighed her today on our digital scale and she was 12.4lbs. Her birth-weight was 9lbs4oz and my weight is low end normal.
I think her weight is too big for such a young baby... thoughts? It's not like I can do much to change it - as she feeds on demand - and she is so young that I would never ever stop nursing on demand...
But I am worried about potential problems with having such a big baby (I've read large babies are more prone to childhood obesity).
I've also read big babies are generally better babies - less colicky and fussy. There is too much competing information out there.
Anyone with some input or thoughts?
